Payment Terms
1. Pre-contractual information and acceptance of the travel contract
By booking this trip, the customer expressly acknowledges having read these Terms and Conditions of the travel offer and the budget. These documents constitute the travel contract.
The client is informed that the acceptance of the quote accompanied by the first deposit entails a firm commitment on his part to contract under the conditions applicable on the date of acceptance / contract. Consequently, the customer will not be justified to express any dispute regarding, in particular, the price of the trip after the acceptance of the budget.
2. Travel prices
Prices are calculated according to the request made by the client and availability at the time of booking. No quote without reservation is guaranteed. In any case, the final price of the trip desired by the client will be confirmed by the agency at the time of booking.
3. Prices do not include
Unless otherwise indicated in the travel offer, prices do not include round-trip flights to Greece, drinks, meals and services during stopovers between flights, personal expenses, optional excursions, tips, trunk fees, visa fees, taxes imposed by local authorities, insurance, tickets to sites and museums.
4. Payment
The reservation can be paid by bank transfer and / or card (credit or debit). All reservations must be accompanied by a deposit of 35% of the total amount of the trip. The balance must be paid no later than forty-five days before the date of arrival in Greece. Mirovoyage I.K.E. reserves the right to apply sanctions in case of payment after the date stipulated in the invoice equal to the legal interest rate.
5. Responsability
Mirovoyage I.K.E. responsibility, acting as a tour operator, chooses the different service providers (national airline, ferry company, coach operator, hotel, restaurant, guide, etc.) for the execution of the trips. In any case, Mirovoyage I.K.E. is fully responsible for the execution of the trip to the customer and is responsible for Mirovoyage I.K.E. or a supplier providing the services. However, the responsibility of Mirovoyage I.K.E. is excluded:
- In case of non-compliance or poor execution due to the customer or inescapable and extraordinary circumstances
- For services performed by an intermediary or service provider chosen directly by the customer without having requested Mirovoyage I.K.E. for this purpose.
- Mirovoyage I.K.E. is not responsible for an air or rail delay prior to departure not included in the trip, strike or any other inescapable and extraordinary circumstance, as well as if the customer cannot present the official or other documents necessary for his trip.
- In case Of loss or theft of the customer's personal effects / belongings, unless contrary legal provisions apply.
- Also excluding the cases mentioned above, if a breach or an infraction is observed, the customer will immediately inform the supplier in question, as well as the local representative of Mirovoyage I.K.E., whose data will be sent to him when making the reservation.
6. Inevitable and extraordinary circumstances
Mirovoyage I.K.E. will not be responsible for the total or partial non-execution of a trip if this non-execution results from inevitable and extraordinary circumstances (for example, extreme weather conditions, strikes, etc.) that occur in the destination or in the vicinity of the destination with important consequences in the execution of the trip. Mirovoyage I.K.E. will inform the customer as soon as possible and use all the means at its disposal to replace it with quality services and equivalent costs.
Thus, Mirovoyage I.K.E. may intervene when circumstances force you to replace one means of transport with another, one hotel with another, modify a route or cancel certain excursions; The customer cannot reject these modifications without a valid reason.
Cancellation conditions
7. Modification and cancellation of the trip
7.1 On behalf of the client
7.1.1. Before the travel date, trips cannot be modified after booking.
7.1.2. On the ground
The client who for any reason decides to change the course of his trip in the place must necessarily obtain the consent of Mirovoyage I.K.E. or one of its representatives. Otherwise, the customer cannot claim any refund for unused services. In any case, the expenses that could cause these modifications will be borne by you.
7.2. Cancellation of the trip by the customer
In case of cancellation of the trip by the customer, the customer will be responsible for a non-refundable flat cancellation rate of €50 per person and additional cancellation fees depending on the following circumstances:
- From 45 to 30 days before arrival 35% of the amount of the trip
- From 30 to 21 days before arrival 75% of the amount of the trip
- From the 20th to the day of arrival 100% of the amount of the trip
- Trip interruption: no refund
Specific cancellation policies are provided For certain travel offers. They will be specified at the time of booking.
Any cancellation must be communicated to Mirovoyage I.K.E. imperatively in writing by any means that allows acknowledgment. The date chosen to define the cancellation period that will give rise to the above rates will be the business day following the receipt of the cancellation. These cancellation conditions do not take into account any penalty that will be charged according to the conditions of sale of the regular airlines and varying according to the companies.
If on the day of departure the customer does not show up for boarding at the times and places indicated in the travel diary or if he cannot board because he is not up to date with the police procedures, the cancellation does not result in any refund.
7.3. Trip cancellation due to Mirovoyage I.K.E.
Mirovoyage I.K.E. reserves the right to modify the services unilaterally before the start of the trip provided that this modification is minor. In such case Mirovoyage I.K.E. will inform the customer by any means as soon as possible.
If before departure Mirovoyage I.K.E. cannot, as a result of an event beyond its control, provide any essential service or feature of the trip or is forced to cancel the trip, Mirovoyage I.K.E. will inform the customer by registered letter with request for receipt of notice or email with request for notification of receipt. The client in these circumstances can:
- Accept the modification or alternative trip proposed by Mirovoyage I.K.E.. Any decrease in the price will be deducted from the amount still owed by the customer and if the payment already made by the latter exceeds the price of the modified service, Mirovoyage I.K.E. will reimburse the customer for the overpayment before the date of arrival. Any price increase will be borne by the customer.
- Terminate the travel contract and obtain without penalty the immediate refund of the amount paid no later than 30 days after the termination. The customer must inform Mirovoyage I.K.E. of his choice within a maximum period of 5 days from the receipt of the information; in case of non-compliance with the maximum period, it will be considered that the customer has cancelled the trip.
- If after departure one of the essential elements of the trip cannot be executed, Mirovoyage I.K.E. will propose to the customer, unless the appropriate services are not available, to replace those that are not provided. The client cannot reject the proposed services unless they are not comparable to those provided in the reservation summary.
8. Maritime transport
The schedules of the ships serving the islands are provided as strictly indicative, they may be subject to significant deviations even for several hours without prior notice and with information on the site. The scheduled day trip can be done at night or vice versa.
The days and times of rotation of the boats that serve the islands are not always known when preparing the travel offers. The different companies that operate on the islands can program new maritime frequencies without our knowledge. Some programs may need to be changed for a day or two, thus changing their order.
If the point of arrival by boat to the islands is directly in the port, the transfer can be reduced to a welcome in the port and an escort on foot to the hotel.
9. Hotels
The number of stars assigned to the hotel listed in the quote corresponds to a classification established according to the standards of the host country; they may differ from European and international standards. Some hotels may not offer daily cleaning service.
Given the date of the stay and the number of guests present, hoteliers may not operate some services mentioned in the hotel description, such as the pool and air conditioning.
10. Personal data
In accordance with the Data Protection Law and the provisions relating to the protection of personal data, the data concerning customers is necessary for the processing of their requests and is intended for the management of the service. To allow the execution of the customers' directive, this information will be communicated to the partners (reserved service provider, hoteliers, carriers).
In general, customers have the right to access, transmit, oppose, rectify and delete all their personal data in Mirovoyage I.K.E. at info@mirovoyage.com. Mirovoyage I.K.E.'s policy regarding personal data complies with the General Data Protection Regulation.
11. Insurance
Travel insurance is not included in the price of the trip. Mirovoyage I.K.E. will inform the customer about the optional insurance.
12. Applicable law and litigation
12.1. Applicable law
These general conditions of sale are subject to Hellenic law.
12.2. Litigation
Any claim related to a trip must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt to Mirovoyage I.K.E. customer service. For a quick processing of the claim, the client must attend to it within 1 month. After this time, Mirovoyage I.K.E. cannot guarantee a fast processing of the complaint. In any case, the response time may vary depending on the duration of the investigation of the hotels or service providers.
